What will you need:

Hook: 3.25mm/D

Yarn: CARON Simply Soft, Worsted weight 100% ACRYLIC 6 oz/170 g – 315 yds / 288m

  • Iris – COLOR A
  • Orchid – COLOR B
  • Sunshine – COLOR C

 

Abbreviations

 

ch chain
sc single Crochet
st/s stitch/s
sl st slip stitch
hdc half double crochet
rep repeat
*Β  rep from *Β 
(X sc) no. of sc/dc in a row or round
2sc in st 2 single crochet in 1 stitch

Instructions

Foundation Row: With A, ch 28 plus 2 starting ch.

Row 1: 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each of next 27 ch. (28 hdc)

Rows 2 – 27: ch 2 (consider as hdc from here and throughout pattern), 1 hdc in each of next 26 hdc, turn. (27 hdc)

Row 28: ch 1, 1 sc in each of next 25 sts, 2 sc in last st, ch 2, 1 sc in each of next 27 rows, ch 2, 1 sc in each of next 27 ch, 2 sc in last ch, ch 2, 1 sc in each of next 27 rows. Switch to color B in last st.

Row 29: With color B, 1 sc in each sc around, when reaching the β€˜ch 2’ corners work [2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc]. Rep Row 3 times. Switch to color C in last st.

Row 30: With color C, Sl st in each sc around, when reaching corners work [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc]. Sl st. Fasten off. Hide ends.

Finishing:

Take 4 pieces of 5” color C yarn and fold them in half. Fringe in in each corner.
