Had to leave Atlanta pretty suddenly to go to Ohio to see my grandfather that was rushed into the hospital a week and a half ago. Packed fast and decided to drive up since I didn’t know when I’ll be coming back and wanted to have the option to stay as long as needed. My mom flew in from Israel as soon as she could too and in less then 24 hours was there with me.

I felt so relaxed when I got to see him. On my way up there I remembered that I haven’t made him anything yet and felt really bad about it. So when I was in his hospital room I asked him what his favorite animal was. He told me “Golden Retriever”. When we left the hospital, we stopped by the closest craft store and I got my yarns and stuffing (Had some hooks with me and eyes lol) and till I went to bed and the next morning I worked on that dog as fast as I could since I just prayed I will be able to give it to him in time since we had no idea how much time we have with him. Iv’e never crocheted something so fast.

I was so happy when I gave it to him and saw him smiling. I told him to give the dog a name and he named it “Teddy” haha

I Stayed in Ohio for about a week and a half, everyday going to the hospital with my family to be with Grandpa. It seemed that having all the family helped giving lots of endorphins and entertainment.

While I was there it was my moms birthday and since I had so much time on my hands we decided to make her an Infinity Scarf. She picked the yarn that she liked (It was so exciting to see how excited she was by Joanns Fabric hahaha, she asked if I have one in Atlanta and I was like oh yea, that’s where I spend lots and lots of time and money hahaha) Of course I saw some beautiful yarns that spoke to me and told me to make another Scarf for myself too hehe

Knitting and Crochet is just perfect when you got to wait a lot in waiting rooms!

So now I’m back home and we are taking it day by day with grandpa and hoping he will get to go home soon. Any prayers and good thoughts will be great 🙂
